Police charge man and woman with drug trafficking in York County

Two people have been arrested and charged with drug trafficking in York County.

The York County Sheriff’s Office said James and Arlean Day were arrested following a traffic stop around midnight Tuesday in Cornish.

Police said they found heroin, fentanyl, and crystal meth hidden in a compartment in their car. They said they also uncovered a toolbox full of tools and other items that were stolen in a burglary last month.

The two were arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs.
