Police suspend search for missing Richmond woman due to weather

Police in Maine suspended their search Tuesday for a woman whose been missing since Tuesday, Nov. 26.

They’re looking for Annelise Heinig of Richmond, 37.

Police say her car was found abandoned on the side of I-295 between Exits 9 and 10.

They say her phone was traced to Portland and South Portland on Thursday.

She drives a black 2008 Mercury Mariner with Maine license plate 2039 GW.

The search was suspended due to Tuesday’s winter storm.

She was last seen wearing black pants, a black jacket, a black hat, and black shoes. Heinig has blue eyes, blonde hair and is 5-foot-1.

Falmouth police say residents should expect to see an increased police presence in the areas of I-295, Middle Road, and the Presumpscot River on Monday, according to our news partners at CBS 13.

They say they may use Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and water patrols in these areas.
