Police investigate case of cyclist found alongside road

WEST BATH, Maine (AP) The Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department wants to know what happened to a cyclist found unconscious over the weekend in West Bath, Maine.

Officials say it’s possible the 34-year-old man was hit by a vehicle Saturday afternoon.

They say he was found unconscious next to his bicycle in gravel alongside a road.

Deputies say the cyclist was wearing a helmet. Officials said they expected to release more information later on Monday.
