Police investigate hit-and-run in Bucksport

Police in Bucksport are asking for help as they investigate a hit-and-run from several months ago.

In a post on social media, police didn’t specify the time or date of the accident, but said it happened on Main Street.

They said a member of the senior citizen community was crossing at a crosswalk when they were hit and seriously injured.

Police believe the vehicle was a black Jeep Cherokee that was heading east. It should have damage to the front passenger’s side.
