Police Investigate Robberies in Penobscot County


PENOBSCOT COUNTY, Maine (WGAN) The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a pair of robberies that took place on Saturday.

Police responded to an alarm at the Clifton Country Store around 2 A.M. to find that someone had broken in and stolen money and goods. Later, around 4 A.M., deputies responded to another alarm at the Tradewinds in Eddington, finding money and merchandise had been stolen from there as well.

On Tuesday, police released surveillance images of the robbers. Police are asking anyone with information to give them a call.
