Police investigate stabbing, break-in at Berwick home

A New Hampshire man is accused of breaking into a home in Berwick and stabbing a man.

Samuel Woods, 30, of Newmarket, New Hampshire has been charged with burglary and aggravated assault.

According to CBS 13, Woods is accused of breaking into a home on Keay Rd. Saturday Night.

When officers arrived, they say they found woods crawling through a kitchen window.

They also found a man with two stab wounds.

The victim was taken to a hospital and released Sunday.

Police say Woods and the homeowners do know eachother.

The suspect was being held Sunday at York County Jail on $50,000 cash bail.

The break-in remains under investigation.
