Police are searching for a Wilton woman accused of stealing a jeep with three children inside.

The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office says it’s looking for 42-year-old Shannon Lee Dupree, whose whereabouts were still unknown as of Wednesday. She’s wanted on several charges after she allegedly stole a Jeep that was parked at a variety store in Livermore on November 9th 2019, eventually crashing it into a garage and being captured.

Police say Shannon is wanted for violating her bail conditions, kidnapping, criminal restraint, theft and failure to stop for a police officer.

The sheriff’s office says she may be staying with friends in the Wilton or Rumford area.

They’re asking anyone with information to give police a call.
