Police issue Silver Alert for Norridgewock man who walked away from psychiatric facility

A Silver Alert has been issued for a Norridgewock man with mental illness.

Bangor police said 37-year-old Graham Lacher was seen Monday around 4:40 p.m. as he was walking away from the Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center on State Street in Bangor.

Police say he was a voluntary patient but is now considered involuntary.

A K-9 track ended near Eastern Maine Community College.

Lacher is 5’11”, weighing 265 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. He has long brown hair, a long beard, glasses and was last seen wearing a gray jacket, Carhartt pants and an orange knit hat.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact Bangor police.
