Police: Man Struck And Killed By Waste Disposal Truck In Milford

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office says a man was killed by a Casella waste disposal truck in Milford Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office said in a press release Wednesday morning that a man who works for the company was killed in the accident on Oak Street.

He’s been identified as 39-year-old Ryan Leeman of Bangor.

No other individuals were injured and no other vehicles were involved.

The Milford and Old Town fire departments, the Maine State Police Commercial Vehicle Unit and OSHA are assisting the sheriff’s office with their investigation.
