Police on alert amid attempted abductions

CBS-13 reports that the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department is urging Mainers to be on alert after three abduction attempts in the area.

Police say two of the abduction attempts were in the Bangor area and the other was on Mount Desert Island.

In each of the cases, the potential victim was a teenage girl, 13-14 years of age, according to police.
