Police seeking Brewer man wanted on domestic violence charges

Police in Bangor are looking for a man wanted on assault and domestic violence charges.

Police say they searched a residence on Webster Avenue on Monday in an attempt to locate 35-year-old Sheldon Wray of Brewer.

Wray has active warrants for his arrest related to a case from May.

He faces three domestic violence charges, along with one count each of assault and violating conditions of release.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bangor Police at 207-947-7384.

Police said social media posts from Monday about a stand-off on Webster Street were false.
