Portland police trying to locate man wanted in NYC for homicide

PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) Police in Portland are attempting to track down a murder suspect connected with a killing in New York City.

Police on Thursday said 22-year-old Keron Codd is wanted for a homicide that happened on March 21st of 2019. The NYPD believes Codd could be in the Portland area.

Police say Codd is a black male, 5’08”, 160 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. He goes by the street name of Gucci.

The homicide was committed with a firearm and Codd should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who encounters Codd is being advised not approach him, but to call local police. Anyone with information about Codd’s whereabouts are also being asked to contact police.
