An injured hiker was rescued by helicopter Sunday.
Rangers with the Maine Forest Service say they were called to Tumbledown Mountain in Franklin County Sunday afternoon. Their helicopter landed on a rocky slope along the mountain where the hiker was waiting.
Our info partners at CBS 13 News report the hiker’s injuries are not considered to be life threatening.
