NAPLES, Maine (WGAN) Roosevelt Trail in Naples closed briefly Wednesday night after a tractor-trailer truck went off the road.

The truck tipped onto its side and was found leaning against a telephone pole along Route 302 just before 8 p.m.

Sheriff’s deputies say the driver, Darren Teryan of Belleville, Ontario Canada, tried to pull onto the shoulder but accidentially drove into a ditch along the side of the road.

Deputies were able to help the driver out of the truck.

He was not injured in the accident.
