Sagadahoc County Man Charged in Father’s Shooting

HANCOCK COUNTY, Maine (WGAN) A Sagadahoc County man has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting his father during a fight at their family’s camp in Hancock County.

The Bangor Daily News reports 23-year-old Christopher Laliberte is accused of having fired his handgun at his father, David Laliberte, three times, hitting him once in the chest. David Laliberte was flown to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

Christopher Laliberte was ordered held at Hancock County Jail on $50,000 bail.
