Sanford Man Accused of Threatening to Bomb CMP Office in Alfred

A 33-year-old Sanford man is accused of terrorizing Central Maine Power over the phone and threatening to bomb one of their offices.

York County deputies say they received a complaint that Sean Grenier got into a dispute with a customer service rep and reportedly said he was going to bring a bomb to the CMP office in Alfred.

Deputies investigated the complaint, and obtained a warrant for his arrest.

Grenier was taken into custody and taken to the York County Jail where his bail was set at $2,500. Grenier was unable to make bail and will make his first court appearance on Monday at the York Judicial Center in Biddeford.
