A man and woman from Sanford are accused of drug trafficking after police say they found a large amount of drugs, including nearly four pounds of fentanyl, in their motor home.

Scott Huff, 40, and Eva Valley, 30, are charged with aggravated trafficking in schedule W drugs after a four-month investigation into drug sales in the Sanford area, according to a press release from the Maine Dept. of Public Safety.

Maine DEA agents said the two would regularly travel out of state to purchase drugs and bring them back to Maine to sell.

Agents say Huff and Valley were no longer living in their Pearl Street home. The suspects were staying in the motor home and allegedly using it for their drug operation.

The release said agents searched the motor home on Saturday and found 3.8 pounds of fentanyl, 188 grams of cocaine and crack and 40 grams of methamphetamine.

Authorities also reportedly seized a loaded handgun and $19,822 in suspected drug money.

The drugs had an estimated street value of $290,000.
