An active search is underway at a local river in Bangor after a man reportedly fell in Sunday night.

According to our info partners at CBS 13, the search is underway in the Kenduskeag Stream near Bruce Pond. Firefighters believe a 40-year old man was walking near the river with his wife, when he went over a barrier and “slipped” into the water.

Several crews and agencies remain on the scene, as the search continues to locate the man.
