Skowhegan babysitter accused of taking sexually explicit photos of children


SKOWHEGAN (WGAN) A Skowhegan man accused of taking sexually explicit photos of children he was babysitting is charged with sexual exploitation of a child.

The Bangor Daily News reports 28-year-old Christopher Raiche was charged in U.S. District court in Bangor after admitting to taking photos of at least 9 children from different families, all under the age of 10.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a report that a user had uploaded child pornography images to the internet, which authorities used to track down Raiche.

Raiche was brought to Somerset County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail. He appeared in court for the first time in October.
