South Portland man seriously injured in Brunswick rollover crash

One man was hospitalized with serious injuries after his vehicle rolled over on Route 1 in Brunswick Monday morning.

Police said the crash happened near the West Bath line around 10:35 a.m.

The driver, a 26-year-old man from South Portland, was heading north when his vehicle drifted off the road, hit a rock embankment and rolled over several times.

First responders had to extricate him from the vehicle.

The man was brought to Maine Medical Center by Life Flight with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

No one else was in the vehicle.

The crash is under investigation.
