Standish woman accused of fatally shooting boyfriend appears in court

A Standish woman charged with murder for the shooting death of her boyfriend made her first court appearance on Monday.

37-year-old Lynn Perkins was arrested last Thursday and charged in the death of 49-year-old Matthew Hamilton, whose body was found at a home in Standish on Oct. 3.

Perkins did not enter a plea on Monday and the case will be presented to a grand jury.

She’s being held without bail at Cumberland County Jail.
