State Police Investigate Suspicious Death in Old Orchard Beach

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine (WGAN) Police are investigating a man’s death in Old Orchard Beach.

Maine Public Safety Department spokesman Steve McCausland said the death was reported Monday night around 10:30. The man was identified on Tuesday as 65-year-old William Popplewell.

McCausland said police brought in Popplewell’s roommate for questioning, but they have not been identified as a suspect.
