State Police Searching for Missing Greenbush Man


GREENBUSH, Maine (WGAN)  State Police say they are searching a property in Greenbush related to a man’s disappearance.

State Police say on Sept. 25, 2017, the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office received a possible missing person report.  Police say the man in question is 66-year-old Guy Carmel.

Police say in Nov. 2017, they began working with the sheriff’s department on the investigation and believe the last known contact with Carmel was in March of 2017.

Police say early Thursday morning, they secured the scene at 75 Towers Road, where Carmel lived.

Police say they are looking for clues as to where Carmel may be or have gone.

Carmel is described as being 5’9″, weighing about 185 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.
