Theft, Vandalism Investigated at Lewiston Youth Baseball Complex

Police are investigating vandalism and theft at the Elliot Complex of the Lewiston Cal Ripken Baseball Group.

The group estimates almost $2,000 in damage to food appliances and various items in its Snack Shack, while numerous items were stolen.

In a social media post, the group says it’s “evident” people entered the rear of the property through and engaged in illegal activities.

The group also says a second building in the complex was broken into and damaged.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lewiston Police Department.

The Lewiston Cal Ripken Baseball Group holds competitive baseball for kids aged 6-16.
