Three people from Hancock County have been charged in connection with trafficking meth, cocaine, and fentanyl.

The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency arrested 45-year-old Jeffrey Witham and 36-year-old Veronica Gomm, both of Verona Island, during a traffic stop early Wednesday morning.

Police and drug agents seized drugs from the vehicle. They later searched Witham’s apartment and found 24-year-old Therion Harmon of Deer Isle, who was also charged with drug possession.

Between the vehicle and the apartment, agents seized more than 47 grams of meth, 46 grams of cocaine hydrochloride, 30 grams of suspected fentanyl, 5 grams of crack cocaine and more than $25,000 in suspected drug proceeds.

All three suspects were expected to make their initial court appearance on Thursday.
