A Saturday morning crash left three people injured, after a car struck a motorcycle on the Maine Turnpike in Portland.

According to our info partners at CBS 13, public safety spokesman Steve McCausland said the accident happened around 6:30am in the northbound lane at mile marker 46. Police believe the car struck a jersey barrier and veered into a motorcycle.

The driver of the car, and the two people on the motorcycle were taken to Maine Medical Center, the passenger of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries.
