Police say the driver of tractor trailer hauling lumber that rolled over on the Maine Turnpike in Portland suffered minor injuries.

Maine State Police said 49-year-old David Irving was driving the vehicle southbound in the travel lane just before Exit 48 when he went off the road to the right. It happened around 1:45 p.m. and prompted the closure of one lane while a wrecker service made it’s way to the scene.

Irving, who’s from Massachusetts, was taken to Maine Medical Center with what appeared to be minor injuries.
