WATERVILLE (WGAN) Police have arrested two people and charged them in connection with a series of drive-by shootings reported on Saturday.

Waterville police said Sunday that 25-year-old Dana Dasilva and 25-year-old Michelle Luce, both of Skowhegan, are accused of firing shots at several residences; first on Whipple Street in Winslow on Saturday night around 8:20 p.m. Shortly after, police also received report of shots fired in Waterville on Elmwood Avenue, May Street, and then later in nearby Clinton.

No one was injured but a resident on May Street was almost hit by a bullet that went through a window.

In all four shootings, the description of the vehicle involved was similar. The pair were stopped around 11 p.m. by Maine State Police and taken to the police station. Police said Luce was driving while Dasilva was shooting at residences. Police determined that the targets were not random.

Luce was charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution and Dasilva was charged with aggravated reckless conduct, attempt elevated aggravated assault and placed on a probation hold on a previous domestic violence charge.

Both are being held at the Kennebec County Jail, with bail for Dasilva set at $30,000 and Luce’s bail set at $10,000.
