U.S. Postal vehicle flipped on its side in crash

RAYMOND (WGME) — A car crash causes a U-S Postal truck to tip over on its side in Raymond Saturday.

According to the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office that crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on Hawthorne and Raymond Cape Road.

They say the driver of the U-S Postal truck was attempting to make a left onto Hawthorne when a driver in a sedan attempted to pass the truck which caused both drivers to crash into each other.

They add both drivers were taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

The sheriff’s office is still investigating the crash at this time.
