The Last Unicorn restaurant in Waterville was destroyed by fire over the weekend.

Crews responded to the restaurant on Silver St. around 4 a.m. Sunday.

Some adjacent buildings suffered light smoke damage, including Cancun Restaurant and Silver Street Tavern.

Officials say three firefighters suffered minor burns.

They were treated at the scene and also taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but officials say it appears to be an accident.
