Westbrook woman found dead in Portland

PORTLAND, Maine (WGAN) Portland police are investigating the death of a 52-year-old Westbrook woman Monday morning.

Police say the woman was found just after 6:30 on Douglass Street near the Kiwanis pool. They say she appeared to be riding a bike and then struck a parked van. Police believe she may have suffered medical event before the accident.

The state medical examiner will determine an official cause of death but police say they don’t believe it was suspicious.

Police are asking anyone who many know anything about the incident to give them a call.
