Maine Points: 2021 Plane Pull

The inaugural event in 2019 raised $100,000 for the Travis Mills Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps heroic men and women overcome physical and emotional obstacles, strengthen their families, and provide well-deserved rest and relaxation at its retreat in Belgrade, Maine. The event is free to attend for spectators. There will be activities for children, food trucks, and more.

September is Coastal Cleanup Month! The International Coastal Cleanup was established over 35 years ago to address the problem of trash in our oceans and on our coasts. The Ocean Conservancy manages the ICC and maintains a database of all the items that volunteers around the world record when collecting trash. As of 2020, the one-day event in September has become a whole month of Cleanups around the world!
