Maine Points: Community Matters More

Danny speaks with Gavin Robinson, Community Relations Manager, Bangor Savings Bank. The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation was created with a mission to help make their communities more livable and more vibrant. Community Matters More is a program of The Bangor Savings Bank Foundation that directly engages the public in giving grant awards.

During the month of April , the public’s votes will determine the recipients of over $155,000 to nonprofit organizations in ME and NH. In turn, the nonprofits with the most votes in each geographical region will receive a $5,000 grant, with winners to be announced in June .

Also, nonprofits who are looking to engage with the public to vote may visit online,   where they can find a digital social media tool kit to help rally for public votes and spread the word about Community Matters More.
