Dexter High School Gets 25K as Finalist in National Giveaway

Dexter Regional High School is celebrating after receiving a $25,000 check as a finalist in the T-Mobile “Friday Night Lights” giveaway.

The school was presented with the check during halftime of their Saturday football game against Houlton.

The national contest awards money to small towns to help improve athletic facilities.

Dexter is currently third in the running for the $1 million grand prize, with voting continuing at the contest website page. As of Sunday night, the school had garnered almost 410,000 votes.

Dexter was also victorious in its game Saturday, beating Houlton 50-8.
