Antifreeze leak suspected after students on Maine school bus hospitalized with illness

14 students were hospitalized after they reported feeling ill on a bus in the Fairfield area.

First responders say a call came in around 10:20 p.m. Thursday for a report of students getting sick from a potential antifreeze leak.

The Morning Sentinel reports the students, who were heading home after a track meet, experienced headaches and nausea.

The student’s conditions are not yet known.
