Body of Missing Lewiston Man Found in River

Auburn police say they ‘ve found the body of a Lewiston man in the Little Androscoggin River who’s been missing for weeks.

Officers say the body of Ryan-Eric Richardson was recovered from the river Thursday afternoon.

Richardson was reported missing by family members after he was last seen in Auburn on April 17th.

Police say the Maine Warden Service was called to the scene and wardens assisted by the Auburn Fire Department recovered Richardson’s body a short time later.

Officers say autopsy will be conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
