Hannaford locations across Maine will begin offering J&J vaccine

Hannaford says it’ll begin administering COVID-19 vaccines later this week.

The grocery store chain said Tuesday that Mainers can receive a shot of the new Johnson & Johnson vaccine at 35 Hannaford pharmacies across the state.

The shots will be available to eligible Mainers at Hannaford locations from York to Lincoln. Vaccines will be available by appointment only. Mainers can schedule one at hannaford.com.

The company says the vaccines will be available by the end of the week.
