Penobscot County Health Care is laying off employees and closing its Bangor office.
A spokesperson says the provider will be closing its Adult Wellness Center in Bangor amid what they say are ongoing financial issues.
16 positions are being eliminated, and 11 employees will be transferred to new roles.
