A New York man accused of burning down a home and killing a man in Maine in 2017 will spend 16 years behind bars.

29-year-old Basilio Liranzo was sentenced by a Washington County Judge on Thursday for the killing of Wayne Foss in Whitneyville, who was found dead after his home was burned down.

Liranzo’s robbery charge was dismissed after he pleaded guilty to murder and arson.

Two other men also face charges in connection with Foss’s death, which his family members say was related to the illegal drug trade.
