The length of Knights Hill Road, between North High Street (Route 302) in Bridgton and Black Mountain Road in Sweden, was shut down Monday evening.

The Cumberland County Regional Communications Center announced the closure just before 5 p.m. Monday, and advised drivers to avoid the area and use alternative routes.

No reason was provided for the closure, and no time frame was outlined for the roadways’ reopening.
