Man accused of stealing vehicle from dealership in Westbrook


A man is accused of stealing a car from a dealership in Westbrook.

According to CBS 13, police say Timothy Berry stole the vehicle in May.

They describe the 29-year-old as a transient from Portland.

Police announced Wednesday that Berry had been arrested and charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief.

He’s also accused of violating conditions of release, operating with a suspended license and attaching false plates.

The vehicle was eventually recovered by police.

Officers from Portland assisted in the investigation.
