A 26-year-old Baldwin man is in custody after deputies say he harassed a road flagger in Waterboro last month and is wanted out of state.
Deputies say they received a complaint from a road flagger last month, who told police someone harassed them after being asked to stop.
The suspect was identified as 26-year-old Daryl Terry of Baldwin.
Deputies learned Terry was wanted by authorities in both Maine and Texas. They also found out that there was a nationwide extraditable warrant out of Texas for Terry on a probation violation for being a felon in possession of a weapon.
After several failed search attempts, deputies say they got word on Wednesday that Terry was at an apartment in Springvale. When searching that apartment, they found Terry hiding in a closet.
Police arrested him. He’s being held at the York County Jail without bail and will eventually be extradited back to Texas.
