A 50-year-old Windham man has serious injuries from a crash involving his motorcycle early Monday at about 6:30 am in Gray.

Deputies say an SUV (2022 Ford Explore) driven by 59-year-old Cheryl Royal of Gray entered West Gray Road from a side road, Ramdsdell Road, and was hit on the driver’s side by a motorcycle (2013 Harley Davidson) driven by William Segler.

They say it appears Royal failed to yield the right-of-way to Segler, who was taken to Maine Medical Center with serious injuries.

Royal was not injured.

West Gray Road was closed for about two hours during morning drive time for an investigation.

The crash remains under investigation by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
