Multi-vehicle crash in Kennebunk leaves 1 seriously injured

One person was hospitalized in serious condition after a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 in Kennebunk that blocked traffic for about two hours on Monday.

Police say the crash involved three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer that was legally stopped in a breakdown lane at mile 23 northbound around 8:50 a.m. Monday.

The driver of an SUV, 45-year-old Kelly Adams of Lebanon, was taken to Maine Medical Center after suffering significant injuries.

No charges have been filed but the case will be reviewed by the York County District Attorney.
