New Hampshire man found dead in Scarborough river

The body of a New Hampshire man was recovered from a river in Scarborough Friday morning.

The Maine Marine Patrol says the body of 46-year-old Greg Blute of Hudson, New Hampshire was found by a fisherman near the mouth of the Nonesuch River around 7 a.m. Friday. His body was recovered about 500 yards from shore two hours later.

Officials said Blute was wearing a lifejacket. Authorities recovered his kayak.

The death is under investigation.
