Police arrest man with gun near Biddeford High School

A man with a gun was taken into custody outside Biddeford High School on Friday.

The school was placed in lockdown before officials dismissed students from the high school, the Alternative Pathways Center and the Center of Technology at 11 a.m.

Police said the scene was secured, after 21-year-old Mohammed Hussein Kamaluldeen of Biddeford was taken into custody and charged with possession of a firearm near a school, with more charges possible.

No one was hurt.
