Police Investigate After Fairfield Man Found Dead

Police are investigating the death of a 39-year-old Fairfield man who was found Tuesday morning.

Officers say they were sent on a welfare check to a residence on Burrill Street at about 8:35 a.m., where they found Jeremy Turner dead.

The state Medical Examiner’s Office will investigate the cause and manner of Turner’s death.

Fairfield Police say the circumstances are out of the ordinary, but the death does not appear to be suspicious.

Officers will continue their investigation with the assistance of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
