Saco woman struck, killed by dump truck

Police are investigating after a woman was struck and killed by a dump truck in Saco.

Investigators say 56-year-old Kimberley Lavin of Saco was struck by the truck on Water St. near the intersection with Main St. Wednesday afternoon.

Police say the driver of the truck was turning onto Water St. from Main St. when it happened.

Members of the Saco Fire Dept. performed life-saving measures on the woman but were unsuccessful.
