New information about a deadly head-on crash in New Hampshire last Thursday shows it was a 43-year-old Maine man who was killed.

Somersworth, New Hampshire Police say Mark Shuttleworth of Sanford was pronounced dead at the scene after he reportedly crossed the center line on 108 and hit an oncoming car.

Officers say there’s evidence Shuttleworth may have been impaired at the time of the crash.

They say the driver of the other vehicle was transported for medical treatment and was last known to be in stable condition. Police say the other driver is cooperating with an investigation.

Somersworth Police, along with the Strafford County Regional Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team, conducted an investigation into the accident.  Route 108 was closed for four hours after the crash.

Police said an investigation is still ongoing.
