Two people charged in Lamoine shooting that left man seriously injured

Two people have been charged with attempted murder after a shooting in Hancock County on Friday night.

The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a residence at 21 Holt Street in Lamoine around 10 p.m. to a report of an altercation and gunshots.

The victim, identified as 37-year-old Spencer Trott, had been staying at the residence and was later found walking on Bayside Road in Ellsworth with a gunshot wound. Trott suffered serious injuries but was in stable condition on Monday.

On Saturday, police arrested 29-year-old Dimitry Dubrovsky of Bar Harbor and 30-year-old Duncan Haass of Lamoine. Both were charged with attempted murder and other crimes. They were scheduled to appear in court Monday at 1 p.m.
